However, the experience is different for every user because of the variation in connection speeds.

Depending on site traffic, changes to video information can take 8

videos take over 24 hours to index.

We don't have any limit for the number of videos you can upload, and don't foresee adding a ceiling anytime in the future. So start making videos and upload as many as you'd like-it's more content for the whole channelv2 community to enjoy!
How long/large can my video be?
All videos uploaded to channelv2 have a 30MB file size limit. The longer the video is, the more compression will be required to fit it into that size.
What are tags? How do I add them?
Tags are keywords that describe videos. For example, a surfing video might be tagged with "surfing," "water," and "waves." Users who enjoy watching surfing videos can then search for any of those terms and that video will show up in their search results. Tags help you label videos you upload so that other people can find them more easily.

What should I put in my video description?
To best promote your video, you'll want its description to be both accurate and interesting. Here are a few tips to help you get started:
Make your description clear and specific.
Your video should stand out from the crowd. Try to determine what content it contains that will help users find it and distinguish it from other videos. Using descriptive language in complete sentences is a good idea.
Give credit when appropriate.
If people don't know the exact title or other keywords associated with your video, they might search the name of a participant or another website where it's featured. Be sure to include as much information as you feel comfortable, but be careful not to include anything that shouldn't be publicly displayed.
Categorize correctly.
The category into which you place your video is part of its description as well. People are more likely to rate your video highly and watch it more frequently if it's placed in a relevant category.
What does the video rating represent?
A video's rating represents the average of all ratings it has been given by users since it was uploaded.

How do I comment on a video I'm watching?
To post a text comment for a video, start typing in the "Comment on this video" field, then, enter your comment and click the "Post Comment" button. Remember to keep your comments respectful and relevant, so they can be enjoyed by the full channelv2 community!

Why does the video keep stopping and starting while I'm watching it?
If a video doesn't play continuously, it may be due to your connection speed. You'll need a broadband connection with at least 256+Kbps for the best viewing experience. It's also possible that our servers are experiencing high traffic, which sometimes affects the speed. If this is the case, there's not much you can do, but we are continuously adding servers to keep up with demand. Thanks for hanging in there with us as we continue to grow.

The video won't play-what's wrong?
All of the videos on Channelv2 are streamed through a Flash player, so you need to have the latest version of Adobe Flash installed on your computer. To download it, please visit Adobe

All videos are stuck on the "Loading" screen.
This could be caused by a number of things. First, you'll need a broadband connection with at least 256+Kbps for the best viewing experience.

If your connection speed meets the minimum requirement but you are still stuck on the "Loading" screen, this could be caused by a firewall or internet blocker. These types of programs could block the media stream from Channelv2. If you have a firewall, you might want to temporarily disable it to see if the videos load. If so, you would need to adjust the firewall settings to allow streaming media from Channelv2 to pass the firewall. If you are not sure on how to do this, please contact the manufacturer of your firewall.

This might also be caused by another streaming application such as Quicktime fighting for the stream. Please check streaming applications installed on your computer like RealPlayer, Quicktime, and Windows Media Player and ensure that they are not enabled as the default player.
